The Next President Can Be Predicted If These Signs Keep Repeating Itself
Ghana
has been a very interesting place to look at during election. There have been
trends that have repeated itself for about 16 years now. Well 2020 is no
exception.
These
trends have started and it may repeat itself, you may have your own judgment
but look at these carefully.
Term Of Service:
From
the day free and fair election was introduced, Ghanaians never vote a sitting
president out for his first 4 years of service. They always complete their
8years as stated by law. During the battle between John Jerry Rawlings and John
Agyekum Kuffour, Kuffour won the election and became the president, he was
voted again to continue his work for the next four years. 2008 saw another
election, with John Evans Attah Mills taken the seat as president, for him his
term of office ended sadly as he was not able to continue. John Dramani Mahama
took the mantle. Ghanaians still did not betray these politicians as they gave
the NDC party another four years. It would have been the final term of service
for John Evans Attah Mills if he was still alive by then.
Change Of Political Party:
Since
the founder of NDC party agreed to let Ghanaians vote to elect their own
president, after every eight years, Ghanaians always allow another political
party to take over. John Agyekum Kuffour served as president for eight years,
representing the NPP party. John Evans Attah Mills together with John Dramani
Mahama served for eight years representing the NDC party. Ghanaians after that
have changed to allow NPP party to take over. But the question still remains!
Will the NPP serve for another four years?
Campaign Song:
From
2012 till now, campaign song have played major roles in political rallies and
campaigns. Funny as it may look, every election year, the political party with
the best campaign song looses the election. 2012, NPP had the best Campaign
Song composed by Daddy Lumba/DL but they lost the battle. 2016 was no
different. NDC had the best Campaign Song composed by Dee Aja but they also
lost the battle.
2020
is also getting interesting, we are seeing #MahamaAfa and #4More4Nana songs
circulating the air waves. Will the best campaign song loose this year, or
there will be difference in this election.
Campaign Promise:
Over
the years, politicians have been thinking that Ghanaians don’t really pay
attention to promises made. The truth is about 65% of the population are very
interested in the promises made by political parties before elections are held.
Political Parties that focuses on debunking what the opponent party says
becomes the bad nut for Ghanaians.
With
the above mentioned signs, we can predict the next president of Ghana in the
election that will take place on 7th December. You can also leave
your comments based on your opinions.
